last seen in the OZONE forum yesterday but has mysteriously disappeared today...

I noticed a missing thread too...

I had posted to it yesterday, and went back to check it an hour later......not only was the thread not in the forums, it's not in the archives either.

Methinks someone assumed the right to delete what they didn't like.


I really hope that isn't so....it would be nice to think it's just forum gremlins...but I'm a tad skeptical....

Thanks for the info DG, I did a search for it and it shows up with you as the last post but when you click the thread it takes you to the forums page. At least a trace of it is still there, I hope somebody can find it and restore it, I haven't read a thing since my last post and the curiosity is overwhelming, probably the added forum gremlin intrigue that's making it so suspenseful

I archived it acually. No good was comming out of it other then much NOT needed bickering so I decided to send it to the Misc. Archieves ( I believe thats the archieve I sent it to) The thread is not deleted but please don't waste your time searching for it and then re-opening it. It was only a joke and served no real malicious intent but some people ended up offended and Im offended that you were offended ... yea you!

ummm Jestah your post wasn't the one that offended me...and it was handled and Mikey made it right... and trust me...I wasn't the only one offended...Mikey didn't even like what he said...so he took it off.... he was drinking and wouldn't have posted that if he hadn't been... blah blah blah

Oh, I know it was Mikey who posted the offended post. Hell I didnt even hafta look in the thread to know it was either him or twitch^ lol, I archieved it because it was just plain stupid and not worth fighting over.

You've been on an opening and closing tear lately that's unprecedented, please calm down. I'm not your daddy but I'm letting you know that you're really throwing some confusion around.

I'll feel free to respond to that thank you very much. I'm glad that I didn't catch what you first posted and even happier that you retracted it and apologized. I realize you're young and a bit impulsive, I was worse than you at your age in that regard. I haven't hurled any insult back, just stated that I was indeed offended. I'll let you take it from there. I take care of me, you take care of you. I don't sermonize here, I don't try to convert anyone here, but I won't be called a tool for my faith and laugh it off.

Do we need to go through this again? The thread was meant as a joke. About three posts into it someone got offended. Another 5 posts into it there was more people offended. I closed it because people were offended. Sorry if you missed 11 replies. I didnt miss em, believe me you werent missing much. My opening and closing tear as you describe consists of archieving ONE thread and opening another TWO that were closed for no reason. Some "tear" huh? If you were confused by the fact that you couldnt find a thread on a forum then I don't know what to say. The thread will stay closed and it will stay archieved because there is no need for it.

Since your so keen on the topic, Ill present it to you again "Did you hear they canceled Christmas in Washington? They couldn't find three wise men or a virgin." Funny huh?

In your message to Mikey, ".I'm glad that I didn't catch what you first posted", sums um the exact reason why I archieved the thread. Hell, you didn't even read it yet your pissed about it.

Jestah, read both of the threads in question, through, and then get back to me (I read them both, thoroughly and thoughtfully). You'll catch it, you're a smart guy.

The tear I referred to is exactly as you've stated. The confusion I refer to should maybe be elaborated on, I couldn't find the thread, DG couldn't find the thread. It showed up in a search but you couldn't get to the actual thread from there. That's confusing. I'm sure the people who closed the threads that you reopened were a little confused but I shouldn't put words in their mouth. No offence man, just chattin.

Opening two threads is hardly a tear. If the people who closed them couldnt figure out the fact that they were open and it confused them then they should have there heads examined ..

hmmm... can i suggest that this thread be moved to MS labs?
i remember when i was a kid - things were better when my parents kept their arguing to themselves, inthe bedroom.
when they argued at the dinner table, it just got too bloody awkward.

I agree, this belongs in the Mad Scientist forum because it deals in handling opening/closing/deleting/moving threads.
