Have a look at this thread (if you haven't already seen it)
http://www.ozoneasylum.com/Forum14/HTML/000835.html

Now, in the second post, put you mouse over the link, and have a look at your status bar (not sure if this only happens in IE or not).

I can't get that message to go away, I looked at that thread yesterday, and it reamined there the whole time I was running IE.

Also, Cacheing (something) pops up briefly, and if you go to another link, it will show that link location, and then return to this piece of text.

Is this a possible security hole, or is it supposed to happen?

that's just ini playing around - he put an iFrame in his post.
so i guess if you're allowed iFrames, you could call that a security hole.

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

I think we should allow the use of HTML in the Mutimedia Forum (and only there) but maybe we could work out a way of censoring certain tags such as <IFRAME> <LAYER> <SCRIPT> and the like...

ANother thing also, there seems to be something up whenb I view the board. I'll visit the forum say two days ago, and any threads that have new posts are red, as they should be. If I come back a few days later, even if those same threads don't have any new posts in them, if they're still exactly the same, they are still red...

I find this a little strange.
