And I'm proud to say that we now have a complete team as Dracusis has picked up the baton as Coding #2
Dracusis: Good to have you on the team - have a read of the threads (as I said I'll update the FAQ with all the links to the various threads so we don't loose any), throw any thoughts you have in to the discussion on graphics and we'll let you know when it is time to really get stuck into the code.

May I suggest a 'work flow' here? I just don't want anyone feeling out of the loop, wondering when the meat and potatoes work will begin ...
I did a mockup front page, not with design in mind, but rather with content and general layout in mind. WS and I will beat that around a bit (and anyone else who wants to join in). Once we have the content and general layout settled for that front page, we then kick it over to the design and code conference rooms for those folks to work on.
Next will be coming up with forum topics, descriptive blurbs, forum FAQs, etc. That stuff will then be kicked out the content door and into the other relevant rooms.
After that, I think we'll get a general idea of what will live in the big "information" area of the site (articles, FAQS and the like) and maybe cough up a some of that content so that the design team can figure out what those pages will look like.
Then while the information area is cooking on a backburner, we'll figure out what information we will be requesting on the actual RipperReport submission forms.
That all should be a good start. Once we reach the end of that list, then we can dream up the next list and continue moving forward.
Tom, Emps, WS, feel free to twist around my suggested work flow ... keep in mind I made up that workflow from the perspective of my job, content. You guys can see the big picture better than I and see what would be best to tackle first, second, third, etc.
I am submitting these suggestions because as I poke my head into some of the other conference rooms, it looks like some of the natives are getting restless. I just think it would be a good idea to have some sort of play book put together so that the team can see what is coming down the pipe so to speak ...
EDIT: Maybe we could also use this here main thread to maintain a weekly status report as well. For instance:
Content: front page content completed; Forum topics decided; Forum FAQs work started.
Coding: something done; something started.
etc ....
OK, time for bed, I'm out of here, good night ...
We throw around various ideas on logo, feel and layout to make sure we are all happy with things.
First stage:
Graphics: The logo and layout are finalised.
Coding: The forum is installed.
Content: WS and Beekay work on getting the content written up (including working on the keywords).
Second stage:
HTML: The HTML people take the layout and work it up into a general page design (as well as produce the CSS).
Graphics: Logo, buttons and forum customisation takes place.
Content: As first stage.
Coding: Take the HTML layout and carve it up into the includes. Work on private area, rollovers, contact area.
Third stage:
Slotting the content in and making sure everything is working as we like. I would imagine that most of the pages would be fairly static although we can discuss this in later stages.
Its clear that this can be subdivided but until we've actually settled on a layout and colour scheme I'm wary about getting too specific and/or letting the team loose on too many other aspects. All ideas and input graefully received

Hi Emps if you mean the email exchange the other day that was cool, was really looking now for a bit more detail so i can work on a realistic timeline for the project and attempt to add timelines for interfacing all the different aspects of the site.
kind of like this is what i was looking for.
graphics k colours and logo's etc finalised yes/no if no how long until this point is reached
coding:update on how far things are looking serverside etc. also templates ready yes/no if no when
forum:again colours templates mods etc how far from completion...is secure area working yes/no
content:hows the actual meat of the content looking and has a flow chart of how the individual rips will be handled and progressed through the site.
if ya got a bit more in depth info cool fire me an email if not lets just let the group leaders fire it in here, it will also let the other members of the asylum know how things are going

Well, I'm waiting for expansion on the content thing from BeeKay...and then we can go ahead (after polishing the 'Who we are' part off) with the mission statement, the content under Educate and the content part for Protect.
Also, the information for the Rip repaorting form (I think that is the name for it...) is in the beginning stages.
Links have been provided galore...
And that's where we are in the content area currently.
I'll need a number two (please no toilet humour ) as I've got quite a bit on - any takers? Dracusis you seemed quite keen or is there anyone else who fancies covering for me when I'm busy?
Right - priority number one is getting the colours/layout decided upon and moving forwards so that we can start feeding the jobs out to the other team members.
I'd also be interested to see where the content is up to.
WS forgot to pay the bill and I was waiting to hear back from him on that one but he doesn't seem to have been around for a few weeks. The work was being coordinated on the RR forums so I thought I'd closed down all the relevant threads relating to it here - congratulations on finding one I missed
