Synthetic: Although the DB is down TP did implement a page caching system so if you can get into the FAQ a lot of pages are still available for viewing - try going in via my sig, for example. You couldn't vote, edit or add them or view the recent changes or most visited but you can still get at most of the popular ones while the problem is being fixed |

grabs the two parameters the faq takes from a browser, secures them (ie, checks if they're valid), |

Yah, I got this fixed, we had some glitch in Dreamhost where the SQL hostname became, well, not there anymore. But it was, so it couldn't be created again! Really, they should know by now to simply pass me along to the tech department, if I call support it means that something is broken, not me being an idiot. ;-) Sorry I've been so quite lately, I am *so* overwhelmed with jobs to do right now, and also fighting this summertime urge I have to do, well, nothing at all. Ah well! I gotta run, I need to complete 3 impossible tasks by the end of the month, fun! |

hey, Doc, what's the policy on your phone number? is it a open or do occasions such as this merit special circumstances? |

Hey, if you need to, I guess you could call. Don't be too shocked if I'm majorly freaked out about it, I have a severe phone phobia, and I hate talking on the phone, ugh. (shudder) You might also wonder if you actually have my correct number, I tend to lie about such things, heh heh. |

*mental note* don't call Doc cause he lives in Switzerland which is majorly far away and costs about $7.00 a minute to call. Use this wonderful medium called the net and chat with doc sometime. |
