Checking the pulse ... nope can't feel anything ... can you?

Noticed that all but the graphics thread are now gone. What happened there?

If this idea is dead, well, I sincerely hate to see it go. I put a decent amount of time into the content area and I am quite frankly disappointed with the lack of feedback and response I was getting there. That's why I stopped contributing ... I was just waiting for some feedback and direction that never came.

So, before I totally write this off, is it in fact dead, or is there still some life in there somewhere?

Beekay: Its not dead - the reason you can't see the others is that they the forums only show the threads which have had posts in the last X days (where X is set to what a week a fortnight).

It's still alive...sorry I haven't really been able to 'add' to it lately...my job has taken the lead recently...as one may know, in Germany all is not well...many are 'fighting' for their jobs, their existence...and I was involved in trying to save my own...which seems to have succeeded. And at the moment, I have other things with a higher priority...I'm getting married on the 5th of Sept. 2002...a lot of preparations and stuff...

After things calm down a bit, I'll then turn my attention back to the Ripper Report...really sorry for giving anyone misconceptions, or failing to inform...

I personally hate having to fight for my job...it was very nasty...5 people had to go...they now have no job...I survived, yes, but the 'working' relationship in the office is somewhat 'strained' because of these events...and I now have a double workload...cost-cutting you know...

I'm still here too. But I've been really really busy.

I'm likely to remain really busy for at least another month and a bit too. After that I've got like close on 3 months of holidays to do what I please and one of the first things on my list is the RR stuff I've promised.

Sorry to hear about the crap happening at work WS. I've been through something similar before. The Engineering company I worked for had to axe the entire electrival and machinecal division once because they weren't making enough money and the rest of the company couldn't support them any more. We lost 10 people out of a company that only had about 30 -- and yah, moral was kinda buggered for a long time after that. I hope it get's better soon!

tomeaglescz: Everything has been waiting for the design to be finalised. I know Synax has been waiting (patiently?) to start the client-side coding.

If you want to know about the specific areas then bump the relevant threads I'm just going to fire up the content and server-side coding.

OK all RR business will now take place at the Ripper Report forums. I'll shut these down and then archive them in a few days so we can refer back to them.

I'd recommend that inmates register over there and give us their thoughts and input.
