Topic: wrong authentication behavior (Page 1 of 1)

I know the Ozone Asylum is powered by a middle-ware forum but it's quite annoying to loose a long post simply because of a misspelled password or because I was so in my post that I forgot to log in.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to plug few lines of code to redirect to the post page and feed the Message field with the value the user tried to send.

Another point, the textarea is often too small. I use some bookmarklet to add/remove 10 lines when needed but it could also be added to give this feature to every users.

poi: All good suggestions - I doubt there is much that will get done with this current incarnation of the Asylum. We'll have to wait for the New Asylum.

The lost posts are certainly annoying, but I have gotten in the habit (at any forum) of doing a quick ctrl+a/ctrl+c before hitting submit on a long post.

As for the textarea being too small - I don't understand that one.

It's a rather large taxtarea, and if you type a long post it scrolls......don't see the issue there....

DL-44: I ctrl+A ctrl+C when I'm writing several posts at the same time.
Regarding the size of textarea, it's mainlly because english is not my mother language so I try to refine my sentences and correct eventual mistakes. It's also because CODE is my main domain of predilection and I ( almost ) always test and alter the scripts I'm posting. So a bigger textarea is often welcome to keep track of everything.
