From there you can click a button to have them e-mail your password to you. Once you have the password you can join the team with the link above. El Grande.. you don't need an active internet connection to participate if that's what youre asking. I only connect to their server once a day to download new work packets and upload completed work packets. You can set it to any time frame you like.. a day works for me. CPU usage effects your results in the respect that you'll get less done the more you use your system. The beautifull thing about this app is that it doesn't compete with other programs for resources.. it uses only whats available at the moment so you can carry on as usual. The file transfers back and forth are quick and painless too. I'm on 56K.. but rarely connect faster than 50K. There's also a monsterously informative FAQ at distributed.net that can probably answer questions better than I, but I'm happy to help if I can. :) -cyoung Loading...
