Topic: WARNING.. basement sigs (Page 1 of 1)

Played around some today with the idea of a team sig and this is what I came up with. Comments welcome as always. Think it'd be kinda cool, not to mention promotional, to see team members flying related sigs. I'll even give ya the server space if ya need it.

And the other background.

Whoa.. now that I see it here. It's way too big.. damn big monitors. Maybe this'll be a little nicer..

That is a good sig but I wonder if it is still too big. I hadn't had any clear thoughts on matters but something long and thing (sort of the size of the Docs main 'ribbon'-like sig) which can be added to the bottom of the usual sigs that people use. I like the spray can effect of the Team Ozone bit - try a wider one line version in orange.

Sorry not overly helpful but its late (I'll give it some more thought in the morning).

Good advice with the orange but I'm finding smaller to be difficult at best. Here's version 4. Think I like the small text green. The details are a bitch when you go tiny. That's it for tonight.. work tomorrow.

cyoung: That is much better - the larger animated orange text shows up much better than the green. Do we each get our own personalised version? The way things are set up it might look like we'd stolen your sig!!

I'd be interested to see what the others think - add the Asylum URL to a large version and Doc could have a new logo for the team page too.

Thanks guys, glad you like. I'd be happy to personalize it for teammates. I just put my Ozone name and dnet user# in mine, could do the same for you all. Thing is.. I feel kinda iffy about the whole thing since it's partially Doc's intellectual property. I just traced the asylum logo in a quick and sloppy fashion to get the beat up look for the shape.. and he's the guy that devised the team name, not to mention being the chief team dude. If it's allright w/Doc it's cool by me too. So whatcha say Doc? Can we use it? Huh?

I'd like to see some different ideas from you all too.. it's always more fun when everybody's in on it.

cyoung: You are right that we should see what the Doc has to say.

On the other logo ideas front I should declare that I have the artistic abilities of a house brick (although that may not come as a suprise to some!!). I'll sleep on it and see what I come up with but no guarantees.

I do look the personalised touch as it also means that no-one could just use the logo if they wanted (of course such a thing would never happen!!).
