strange occurances have been happening to me since i met my new girlfriend. it's as though we are bonded in ways i never imagined possible. for example:
i wrote poetry for myself and for my girlfriend and people close to me. the other day i had this image in my head and decided to write it in a poetic phrase and give it to her when i got home. i did so and after i read it to her she looked at me and laughed! she asked if i really had gone to work that day or if i had been spying on her. the scene i had described was simple; sunlight shining down on her giving her a halo of light, the wind blowing leaves past her and swirling up to catch her hair and whip it across her face as she looked over her shoulder laughing and grinning. she told me that she had been at her grandmother's that day when she had seen a little whirlwind of leaves in the feild and had gone running into it and stood in the middle of it as the leaves whirled around her and she laughed, feeling like a kid again.
and another:
today i was sitting here minding my own business at work when i heard a child's voice in my right ear say 'hey'. it sounded like one of my little brothers but when i turned there was no one there, but i had this distinct impression that something was wrong, just this ache in the pit of my stomach. i first called my brother's house but no one answered so i left a message which they'll proly think i'm crazy for, and then i called my girlfriend on her cell phone and immediatly asked her what was wrong. she said that her ex had just made a huge scene in the doctor's office about not wanting to take the kids tonight and she was on the verge of tears.
this isn't the first time this has heppened between us either. i'll be somewhere with my mind on my work and all of a sudden become so weak like i've been hit and the wind knocked out of me. i immediatly call her and something is wrong. sometimes it's not een something being wrong, but that i can be at work and just be thinking that i want to talk to her and she'll call me. vice versa as well.
when we met it was love at first sight, had the perfect kiss, and had no sleep all night, just talking. we both feel we are soul mates and maybe that has something to do with it all i know is that this is all very new to me, these experiences, and i was just wondering if i'm alone in this or if anyone else experiences things of this nature.

Yep, been there, done that (only once, but that's all it takes to completely screw with your head ) Not everything you described, but a lot of it is similar. I would go to call her and as soon as I picked up the phone she was already calling me, and I happened to pick it up before it had a chance to ring. All kinds of stuff like that... It's a great feeling to have someone like that
However, because life tends to throw as many curveballs as possible, she's getting married exactly one month from tomorrow... And not to me I might add...

OK, now that I'm all bummed out again, time to go laugh at a couple posts in the Ozone

Take Fuku's advice. Keep her if you can. I'm in the same situation with my girlfriend. We're happy as can be. We're engaged to be married and flying high. I don't think you're alone in this feeling. There are all sorts of theories as to why people connect like this. If you believe in reincarnation... one of the theories is that you two were around each other in your past lives. That you'll always be associated with each other throughout your next lives. There are tons of ways to look at it or try to explain it but the important thing is that your happy and you've found each other. The connection isn't always the same(as in girlfriend/boyfriend) but you'l always be in that same circle of people that your life is involved with.

Fuku - Don't give up hope. I was going out with my girlfriend in Highschool and we ended up getting broken up. In the interim I've had a few girlfriends and she's had a few boyfriends, I've been married and divorced and we're still ending up together. Don't give up on her yet. Far be it from me to believe in Fate but it sure seems like someone's giving me a hand.

So are you asking for our thoughts on telepathy?

If so, I am still curious. I have had some telepathic links/premenitions. Very often, atleast once a week, people will be in conversations and, and they will pause before they mean to say something, and I will hear what they say in my mind before they say it, creepy! But it's cool! Last week, out of shear reflex, as my friend got up she knocked a book on her desk, which was on its way to falling off the desk, I held my hand out and thought of it stopping and it did! I didn't concentrate or anything it just kind of happened like a reflex! But thats kind of a bad example.

I had a premenition in April, the night of my friends party. It was his 14'th Bday, big party, like 40 people... I and us "best" friends were honored to stay the night at his expense. So its 2 in the morning sunday morning, we are to go to Louisvilles new skatepark sometime around noon... He has a fog machine and we are shooting the room up very foggy. So we get into conversations that I started about how I have never broken a bone in my body, and my friend the host has never broken a bone in his body either nor has my other friend... And ironically that evening I have a dream that tommorow we go to the park and there is an injury... Surely enough we are there 5 minutes and my friend the host falls and breaks his wrist in 2 places... Interesting as it seems, terrible fucking day that was...

2 weeks later from that, my friend, I, and 3 other friends went to Louisville again for the skatepark... We skate about 2 hours... We go to dinner. We stop at a place called Bearno's by the River, a pizza resturant I had eye'd last trip up to louisville... We are all waiting to be seated and what not, there is a psychic lounge with "Madam Zelda" in the center of the resturant down about another story... I got into a conversation with someone who was going to go down and talk with "Madam Zelda." I would have gone but I didn't have 37 dollars for an appointment... Heh... So after we are done eating and she emerges from "Zeldas Lair," I ask her if she spoke of any truth. The lady I conversed with said Zelda told her all about her past, and whats going on as of now and what may happen later... She said Zelda told her things she couldn't possibly have known before the meet, and that some were very deep, and if I recall correctly the lady I spoke with came out almost in tears.

So as you can see... Telapathic links and thoughts aren't "entirly" unheard of.

KiTree: In Korea, we call this "inyeon." It means that the two of you have some sort of connection that transcends the ordinary. For example, if you keep running into the same person over and over again in unusual places (ie, places where you would normally not meet), we would say you have "inyeon" with that person. In your case, I would definitely say the two of you have "inyeon."

Are there any theories as to where "inyeon" stems from? You know, how the connection is formed... when it's formed, if it's formed in the first place. Maybe it's always been there sort of thing? It's interesting, I'd like to know more.

I mentioned something about that in InI's thread, but those are really just conjectures based on things I've heard. I'll have to do some more research on that and get back to you with a better answer. Now you've got me wondering, too.

I've had MANY experiences and some of my friends claim that I have these 'premonitions' like psychic powers. However, all my premonitions come in dreams. For example:

I've never been to or heard of this district in downtown Toronto (I live in mississauga, ontario) and I was supposed to go down there and help with this charity i volunteer at. About 3-4 months prior to going downtown to that place, I had a dream that i was packing/unpacking and that I opened up a box with a bunch of green books, white border and black silhouette's on the page.

When I got to the place to volunteer, nothing seemed to 'ring a bell' and 10 minutes into it, i almost blacked out and i looked around and everything was blurry and i seemed to have slipped back into my dream where i was opening up the box with the green book.

I decided this must mean something so i went to my volunteer friend and told them that the box (which was completely sealed with tape and everything) had those green books and i described how the book looks like down to the silhouette's. She thought i was being stupid and SURE ENOUGH, I opened the box and in there were a bunch of books EXACTLY like i described it. My friend thought i had peeked in or cut a hole somewhere to play a prank and i showed her the whole box, there was no holes or anything.

That's just one of my MANY MANY WEIRD episodes.
