Hey there Bugs. Well I don't quite know what to make of that. Seems a tad on the flakey side to me. To say Tim Mc went to his grave not telling all... in order to spare his parents more shame.... just doesn't come close to washin' in my machine. And I think if Nichols knew or *knows* of some sort of connection with everything mentioned there he'd singing louder and longer than the fat lady. If there was any connection and Nichols could prove it.... he'd be out of prison with a new identity and a vault full of cash.

The other thing here that sorta jumps out is the 'paper' itself. To me, it kinda has that National Inquirer/Star/Globe ring to it. I'd be interested in knowing from themz that livz over there if that paper has any credibility.

btw... your 'pc classroom' bit got me so pissed off I'm only now just coming down off the ceiling. <lol> but I bet you knew that anyway.

Bugs: Coincidentally I was looking at the site earlier on another matter. Its an interesting idea - there is plenty about the case that has never been explained and post-911 I read that the far right and the extreme Islamic groups were coming together in their hatred of the US government so it might not be too much of a suprise if they had made contacts further back in time (it would make running cells easier in the US). That doesn't make it true though but it is something worth investigating.

NJ: The site is legitimate and is connected with one of the major London newspapers.

Yes, if you didn't read Gore Vidal's article on Timothy McVeigh in Vanity Fair, you really should.
I'll see if it is on the internet anywhere.
It doesn't profess his innocence, but it does give some insight into his mindset... a scarily serious one, that was amazingly fucked in his understanding of justice.

It amazes me how the 9-11 terrorists take religious ideology to an extreme, however Tim McV's extremist ideologies toward justice and politics are scarier than any rebel or revolutionary.
The perpetrators of the OK bombing got just the right patsy to pull it off, I guess.
He was definitely off his rocker.

One thing is for sure though.... no man that plans this massive endeavor as a one man mission tries to get away in a van with no plates on it.
Also, that much damage could not be caused without bombs inside the building as well as the Ryder truck bomb.

One thing that is linked to terrorists, the OK bombing, and the 93 WTC bombing would have to be the use of Ryder trucks.
I bet if we get rid of all of those, everything would be just fine, yeah? heh. ok mebbe not.

edit: All i could find was one on geocities... obviously a copyright violation but hell... i think there are a few spelling mistakes but it seems to be the real deal... http://www.geocities.com/gorevidal3000/tim.htm

Hmmm...thanks for the link, Bugs. Food for thought, it is. I'm surprised that I didn't hear anything about this earlier, through my contacts. Connections...strange days, indeed, esp. should that turn out to be true.

One wonders what else is 'cooking' in the heartland...scary thought, isn't it? If the extreme right in America is connected with terrorist groups from outside of the US, no telling what could be around the corner...and no amount of 'border control' would help...these days, info, and money, travel faster by wire...as over the border per person.
