WS - Was the key lime pie greenish in color or not? I've had Key lime pie in many, many places and sometimes it's greenish and sometimes it isn't... Anyone know what it's SUPPOSED to look like?

Generally speaking if it's green it' sbecause of food coloring.

Same as with mint ice cream...or pistachio ice cream...

People like to see it green because limes are green, but if it's made naturally the small amount of color that is actually there will be dissipated.

Cool. Thanx.. i always though it wasn't supposed to be green, but so many are. They all tasted the same so I figured it was just additive.
