Emperor uproots some truly weird links, as always

Something about the second one tells me it's just not true.

I mean.. the guy had a severed jugular... and who goes to a nursing home to have their head reattached? The whole thing just strikes (edit: strickes? wtf was I thinking...) me as off.

Actually, Raptor, my Dad can tell a similar story that happened to a family friend while waterskiing. It cut some major arteries (the blades on the motor), which had to be pinched, but he still had full muscle control. They just rushed him to the hospital.

An indian van driver in Uttar Pradesh perhaps ... some people aren't as lucky as the average white middle class american ... that nursing home might well have been the only medical facility for 20 miles in any direction.
