So it's time that we started to ask serious questions about the people who will be the guinea pigs in the radical plastic-surgery revolution. Put bluntly, who the hell would want wings or a tail? -- ME! ME ME!

Who wouldn't want to have a tail or a couple of wings? Or what about an hhird eye placed at the back of your head?

What is wrong with doing research that is 'totally beyond mainstream'? If doctors only kept to mainstream medicine and research nothing really new would ever be discovered. All they would do was perfect the parts of science that we allready know. And like it said later in the article, what was once way beyond mainstream is now normal...
