Stella Maris (1918) Mary Pickford is phenomenal. Modern Times (1936) Social protest film, Charlie Chaplin's final stand. Citizen Kane (1941) Even if you hate it, you cannot deny it's importance. Notorious (1946) Classic Hitchcockian post-war psychological suspense/thriller. Third Man, The (1949) Stunning cinematography, twisting plot, and unforgettable zither score.
