Does Illustrator have an automatic graph function? Where you enter x and y coordinates and it creates a graph for you? Just wondering...I have to update a file and trying to figure out how to re-draw the graph. I have the official Illustrator training book in front of me and trying to figure it out!

No automatic graphs, only charts. You can graph it yourself using the info pallete....

I like to use GnuPlot to graph data. You can get a free copy of it from ftp://ftp.gnuplot.org/pub/gnuplot/ .

Once you have created the graph as you want it, you can >set terminal aifm; set output file.ai. This will create a file in Illustrator 3.0 format. This can then be inportedt to Illustrator and modified as you wish.

It has been a while since I have done this, but I will try to help you create the image with GnuPlot if you like.
