Flat match, rotate image 90 degrees (CW or CCW, I don't mind) before or after painting your bit.

nice piece . i love that green curl. I started by turning it 90 degrees clockwise, cause who am I to counter against the wisdom of a clock. I tried to keep to the spirit of your original serve; raw brush strokes with a touch of ambiguity and abstraction. I didn't broaden the palette too much because its only the first return, so i wanted my image to "reflect" the somber self-awareness that the cool dark greens make me feel. --g

Due to the symmetry its hard to see the rotation, but its there 90 cw.

It looks like Gil has abandonded the match. Consider it open... except DocileBob because he sucks... kidding... but you took it last time.

I can't paint, I'm a self-confessed filter freak, I can only mutilate ... so I rotated it 90 degrees, filtered and blended and ... then the green vanished. Nothing added, only manipulated .. if you want to play with a defiler like me, here it is ... if not, I don't mind.

This one is turning scary

I always did have an eye for the macabre ... but that thing just appeared by itself after a series of layer duplicate and blend operations and a couple of ch-ops ... I think it's a haunting !!

I usually don't post in here, but wow. This one is beyond intense. Great job to the both of you.
