Topic: My trip to the Salt Lake.... (Page 1 of 1)

I got a chance to see the Great Salt Lake last week. I was in Roy, UT on business and snuck out early one night. I was completely in awe.











All of these were taken with my Sony F707. I was using a neutral density filter as well. The only PS work was to adjust the levels, crop, resize, and finally USM.

This was one of the more beautiful places of all those I've had the chance to visit.

WOW ! Those are nice. I love that 2nd photo. That would make one more great print !
I'm going to do some major travels this year and hope to get some good photography from different places around the world

I like the last one the most.

Krets, you REALLY should set up and sell some prints @ DPC. I've done well there and I KNOW you would.

vunderbar! I've seen that from the air, very low and banking to get a good view and it was spectacular. These shots are entirely different, and even prettier.

That sure is a BIG place there. Where are the people?

There were hardly any people there which was part of the beauty of the place.

If you ever go near Salt Lake City this place is about 30 miles north near a city called Layton, UT. It's called Antelope Island and I would highly recommend it.

Shi: I have some prints for sale, I just haven't had any time to spend sizing some of these up to sell there. Thanks though, I'll get them on there sometime soon.

You see...this is why I want ot get into photography...there is beauty like that here in Australia, and I want to show it to you guys...gotta prove to the world that I don't live on the world's biggest desert island somehow

Krets: Great shots mate...number three is my favourite...and I'm right behind Shiii on this, you should sell prints mate, you'd do well for yourself.
