I recently bought a wide-angle converter for my Coolpix 5700, and I took it for a test drive last week. I must admit, I'm pretty pleased with the results - what do you all think?

Nice. I especially like that shot of the lake and the valley. Beautiful colors there.

I assume these pics were taken in Ireland? I have to tell you, I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful country. I only spent a few days there, but I loved it. And the people were so friendly it was almost absurd. I really want to go back sometime.

Wise investment on that lens, with landscapes like that. Doesn't look like winter over there. Very nice.

I like the results of the wide angle, even more gorgeousness to cram in.
I agree with you Suho, I have been trying to get work in Kerry (West Coast Ireland) so I can live there.

Yep, Kerry is a beautiful place, no doubt about it. We try to get down there (from Dublin) at least once a year, and the weather last week was just prefect - still and clear, with a fabulous quality of light. I couldn't believe the vividness of the colours I was seeing - the photos are a poor reflection of reality!

The wide angle lens really does add another level of possibilities to the camera, including fun shots like this.

For those who are interested, here are a few more pictures of Kerry - good luck with the job hunting Taobaybee!

That's got to be the single most desireable accessory I've wanted to get for my 4500. This just brings it to mind again daggummit. Nice photos man, beautiful area for sure.
