I also used my desk lamp as the light source and then I bounced my flash off a big sheet of strategically placed white paper. I took about 200 photos to get about 10 that I really liked. Most of those were spent practicing my timing. After a while I gave up on using drops of milk and started throwing frozen peas. Those really created some interesting shapes.
