I want to push you to use your eye and get out there and click that shutter button. Give me a photo that makes the viewer think/feel quiet.

A few guidelines:
1. Photo needs to go along with the subject in some way.
2. Use thumbnails for photos with any dimension larger than 450 px or over 40 kb.
3. Post as many as you want.
4. At the end of the week the person who chose the topic will pick someone to choose the next topic. This isn't a "winner," just someone who gets to suggest the next topic.
5. No critiques (unless requested) this is just to share our photos.
6. Sigs allowed as long as they are cool.

I knew you would have something good to post I love these and that second photo is perfect ! I would love to be able to travel a lot and take photos. I hope to do that some this summer.
I just finished one of my Photography courses last week and start 2 more next Monday.
I'll work on something for this topic and post later.

Are you having fun in those photo classes. I've always wanted to take one of those but because I travel so much I don't know how feasible it would be; I'd probably miss a lot of class.

I've wondered about the online classes that I hear people talk about on DPC but I'm still a little leary of those.

I'm loving the classes krets. These are given by a local well known photographer and they are college credits so that's cool. The next few weeks will be studio (great for learning lighting) and location shoots. I only took one course last time that was every Monday night. I'm taking 2 this time around. I surfed around a lot and read online lessons for the past year or so. That did help, as you don't want to walk in not knowing anything. You already know a lot so I wouldn't waste my time with online courses. If you find time taking college courses rules. You get certified and get better rates at professional places. I now have a press pass which rules !

A press pass? So how does that work?

Have you actually established a business for yourself? Can you just walk into an event or do you have to buy a ticket and then you can get to the ground level?

I just walk into the event free and so far I've had the freedom to walk about any place I like. I just did the rodeo and also took photos of the Gov. on his horse. I just walked to the back area and started shooting.
A friend of mine in class hooked me up with the pass. She does reporting for a newspaper and she just made me a pass.
I stay busy doing photos of events, people and my own art type stuff. I've done well selling prints. I know you have the eye and the knowledge on the tech end to do well even if you do it on the side. Be sure to link me up when you load some stuff. If I can help you in any way just let me know

MW, the one of the evergreen trees in the snow is 'the awesome' IMO. Nice shooting.

[buddha]
[mollz]
[chess]
[great wall]
my cat is also in there somewhere

some may apply. some may not. Buddha is likely the most applicable.
