Preserved Topic: well damn its good to be home (Page 1 of 1)

guess there was a fire one night in the institution. they kept us all in old damp motor homes until the smoke cleared. They gave us cheese whiz to eat and yoohoo to drink. Then they sent us back to our rooms to sleep in the ashes. i did not go though. i slept in a field, a lake, and a tree. i made some new friends too. gary the gopher, frankie the fish, and mauris the monkey. maybe they will come visit sometime. i knew it was time to head back to the institution though, i saw air italy fly over head. guess they dropped doc off at the front door? it is good to be home though.....................<P>(doc be here, all is well, don't mind the burnt timbers! :-)

Well, the airport was kind of burned down too, so they dropped me off at a little airfield out in the woods. At least I *think* it was an airfield, they told me it was! Sure scared those cows, though. The shuttle was full of chickens, so I had to hoof it the last couple of few miles, and arrived just in time to find that my fire-proof safe was totally fireporoof, but the contents weren't! Ah well, I'll just re-write the last couple of memos from memory, it'll be good as new! It is good to be back, even though my *new* symptoms may be a lot more serious than before.....ahh well, it is not like i am planning on leaving anytime soon.<P>------------------
