Well, since my last group of web friends went bad, I have to confess to being one of those who left. I sure would hate to find the Doc's forum stumble like that. I'm fightin for my life here. Yup, I'm still workin on my new generation of pages. Still not askin for help from anyone. I gotta prove I can earn my way here. This group's first reaction to my last work was less than flattering, but I made a joke about myself and moved on. Then I got some constructive comments. I'm gonna split my pages up as Doc said, and post on Crosswinds as Boolean Logic said. I'm havin a hard time, but I'm doin what I can. It will be some time before I can contribute here, but the first thing you'll learn about me is, I got heart and I don't give up. I hope you're all still here when I'm able to stand my own ground and shake your hands. This is where I want to be.

When it comes to us 'puter nerd/artistic types, we don't know if we wanna hug the tree or turn it into kindling! <P>LOL<P>We're a spirited bunch around here that's for sure, but by gumby when you put up some stuff and receive accolades for it, you KNOW we're not a bunch of clowns trying to blast sunshine up your trousers eh!?<P>peace<P>

Yah, we ARE a tough crew sometimes, but I don't think we're ever really nasty. Most folks, when asking for feedback on their work don't really expect too much in the way of detailed analysis, which is something we all seem to excel at. Thinking back on it, It seems to me that I usually jump right in on constructive feedback on changes I'd like to see, even before I start talking about the things I love about a piece. Most folks who stick with it though, end up with batter pages than they started with, and here they get to make a few new friends to boot! Good place, here.<P>

heh heh...I love spelling mistakes. I mean, having BATTER pages would be interesting, wouldn't it? If we were in NewZealand, we could take it down to the Fush and Chup shop. LOL<P>(Just kidding, as I've said before, I'm no racist)<P>

Ha ha, didn't take you guys long to find them! Strange... the sad one doesn't seem to be working. Doc, maybe you should set the valign attribute of the images to "center" or "middle" or something like that, i forget what it is, but there's something that you can set to align the middle of the images with the middle of the text.<P> <IMG SRC="http://www.angelfire.com/ma2/slimesareneat2/images/slimesig.gif">

Ah yup, I'll do that. Not tonight though, it's late, and sleepy time for me! Today is now my birthday, and Malin and I will go out and do something fun, or maybe stay home and... well, none of your business! I'll be around today and tomorrow, and see if I can poke into the script and discover the smiliey translator function, shouldn't be too hard to find. I'll try align=middle, or better yet align=absmiddle, should do the trick. I batter get to sleep now, g'night!<P>
