Hello and good evening to everyone

Well, since I've been fiddling around with PhotoShop a bit, I've wanted to try to get my creative juices flowing .. and since browsing this forum I've noticed pretty much everyone has a signature art of some kind.

Now, I'm not asking anyone to make me one because that would defeat the purpose of trying to get better at PhotoShop, but if anyone can come up with some ideas for my Name (Seven is my name, in case you missed that the first time around..) I would greatly appreciate it!

I definantly like warmage's and, of course, DocOzone's (and others) and hey! I wanna be cool like them too!

I would have to say, just use your imagination, obviously. The design does not have to compliment your name really, just a way of delivering your name in a artistic fashion. There are really no limits to what you can create...

(a quick note about your site)
On your home page it states that you are 19 years old. I do not know if this is a mistake or the years of experience section of your resume is.
Reason being...on your resume it states that you have 8 years experience in "Internet Technologies and Unix" etc. etc. etc. etc.
As an employer, which I have been before, and have hired and fired a few, I would throw your resume in the circular file cabinet(not to be harsh).
I would just assume that you were lying, considering you were 11, 8 years ago.
Just a thought.....hope this is not taken bad.....

Well...something that pops up alot around my school is spelling the number using the number. So it's like 5ive for five, 6ix for six, and in your case 7even for seven.

timothy:

hehe, thanks for the comments, my imagination is lacking when it comes to cool design ideas for stuff such as logos (another thing I need to improve!). And the resume and my age are correct, but I "interned" in a friend's software company when I was 12 which is where the 8 years comes into play. (Note: not all 8 years have been WORK experiance, a lot has been personal experiance).

Granted, its probably not believable, but then again - I don't include my age with my resume, do you?

skaarjj:

Yah, at times I've used Se7en, so thats an idea. I just can't think of any good ways to display the text. Maybe I'll play with this SkyTaffy tutorial..

Hey seven, glad you did not take that bad, if its all true, the more power to you...about the age and resume thing, though no one really includes their age along with a resume, there are so many ways to figure it out.....I actually started to include my age in my resume. The way I see it, if someone wants to discriminate against me because of my age, it is their loss, and I wouldn't want to work for someone like that anyways.....I get a lot of questions about why i do this, it just seems like a positive thing to me.....

I thought I'd test my new one with a little transparency... I've got about nine. Oi. I go through a lot of signatures... I'm never happy with mine.

Wow, thanks Tim. I didn't think anyone noticed my sigs... I've been sticking different ones up for a while trying to decide which one looks best. I'm undecided between these two I've got up on this thread. Transparency or no? I use the xenofex filter of puffy clouds for the green slime effect, so I figured those anti-filter people disliked it. Heh. That IS the only non-PS filter I use though...

Jestah... I took the name as a joke. I was trying to come up with a good list of skills for my resume, with help from my sister, and we started making up joke skills. Then I suggested I write, "will take a bullet for a coworker" and so we wrote down "Human Shield". It's been a part of my resume on and off ever since.

Hmmm human shield ... i guess it is something that an emplyoee would like to see, its always comforting to know that someone would take a bullet for you In times of war you could become quite an asset to the company, Im sure every CEO would be fighting over you to work in there offices. You should have left that on your resume, just to get the reaction of when they read it....

I think more people should play with their signature art... it certainly makes for good practice.
