Well, im off to another semi-late night posting. Anyone in here owner of a Wacom tablet? Im thinking about trying to save the money to get one. Is it worth it? Im seriously thinking about doing something Graphicsie/web for a career. Im only 16 so i have alot of time to think about it i suppose. Im a decent drawer, can i sould see where this could really add a new dimension to Photoshop. Who hasen't wished they could add that needed shade or highlight to that edge to give it just the right effect. Am i the only one drooling?

I mean seriuosly though, i know i have like 600 bucks to spend on one of the larger ones. I need input here guys <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

We have two of them in school. I dont own one but I use them fairly often. Yeah I think its deffinatly worth the investment, but if your looking to become a serious artist you should look into finger painting. Thats where all the money is.

I dont think so, both me and Dan seem to go off topic pretty fast. BTW I gotta go shopping for clothes with my girlfriend later, Im not looking to foreward to that. Shes on the phone now telling me exactly where we're going to go and it sounds like loads of fun. That was sarcastic.

Reve - A tablet makes things possible that you just can't do with a mouse. Retouching is a breeze. And FWIW, I wouldn't bother getting one of the monster ones. I've used a huge one and a smaller one and the smaller one is easier for me. One of the really big ones takes up a LOT of desk space and you'll get tired of using your whole arm to work the whole screen. I have a 6x8 and it works beautifully.

I have, and love, a Wacom Graphire Pad. Turly a good piece of work. Does almost as much as the Incoms, and at 1/3 the price. The work surface is about the size of a mouse pad. Go to the wacom site ([url]http://www.wacom.com[/url) and look up the graphires...they are cool to the extreme.
