i just find it to be cold, artificial, and somewhat boring... i really can't offer any advice on what i'd like to see changed, because there's nothing on it that completely makes me not like it.

hope that makes sense and sorry, but then i'm sure a lot of people would dig that.

Don't take this as an insult, but it's just plain ugly. Bright baby blue and orange clash together more than yellow and purple.

Wow. I haven't commented on this design yet, I really didn't quite know what to say about it. The blue, face it, is butt ugly. The techniques used to create a realistic device, very well done, but the colors are simply distracting, and add nothing to the design. I'm more than a little bit surprised and dissapointed by your attitude towards netscape, theis doesn't need to look *that* bad in Netscape, that was simply unforgiveable after going to so much effort in the creation of this interface. Technically I must say you are very good, but your artistic sense is lagging behind the technique. Good luck to you, hope to see more of your work!

Well I posted my comments in a different thread but I just found the menu you were talking about. Its not bad actually although I dont really like the buttons all that much, and the colors ... ewwww

My goodness! You guys really don't like that blue, do you? I think it might be better if it were darker, but it's really not that bad!

It could be *improved* upon; personally, i'm not crazy about all the wires and stuff hanging around without some sort of background, if you know what i mean. And you should probably label that thing on the left "menu" or something. But overall, I like it.

Someone mentioned Netscape... does this not work in netscape? You should make sure it does; you don't want to cut out a lot of your audience. I used to hate Netscape myself... you get used to it over time. =)

Keep working! You've got talent, you just need to always work on it. Keep improving what you know, learn from trial and error, learn what people like and what they don't like. You'll get better, just like the rest of us.

Totally, tons of talent! I'm quite impressed with the level of detail work on this one, really some awesome work. The choice of colors is up to you, but with this many folks commenting so heavily on the choice of that baby blue, you might want to reconsider the decision, nobody here is in the habit of being harsh wiothout good reason. You may also want to consider using the image against a background of some sort, all of that black can be kind of distracting when dealing with such a powerful image. Good work overall!

i did consider all, about color scheme, about bg. Since its just a personal experiment, not 4 any client, its over. I got new inspiration and will count all above from upstairs into consideration. This time it will be some thin-and-semitransparent style. Color and Bg, i know it! THX heartily

Actually, apart from a tad slow loading, i like the overall concept and look of it. I agree that retouch might be in order but that does not make it a bad interface. Mikey, as usual, needs a spanking. Besides, the color choice is a matter of personal flavor and shouldnt be put down just because YOU dont like it.

Ok, its been awhile since I have been here and apologize for not being around. I thought it had great technique colors werent all that distracting. But......the blue and orange dont go together at all. The code was very slow and could of been cleaner. But I see some real talent in the making.

I think its great! i eve like the colors but agree with the Doc that a background with some color would subdue it a little. You can make the colors work.

You can make it work in Netscape (evil thing) with a different technique. Give some indication that the menu is there, right now you might happen upon it, if not just leave assuming there is no more.

for you guys complaining about blue & orange and yellow & purple, i suggest going to a traditional art class. they are complementary colors. they look good together, depending on the shades you use.

the font colors you used look good together. the colors used in the images dont look good together. try making the blue darker and the orange more gold colored. otherwise it looks good.

Hmm...web art is not traditional art. Purple and yellow always look ugly on the web no matter what shades of them you use.

I am very partial to the lighting and the effects... but yeah, I have to agree on the colors... Killer design!
