Preserved Topic: While I'm at it... Review? (Page 1 of 1)

While I'm at it... I wouldn't mind getting some feedback on a design I jsut did... The city I did this design for had rules up the wazoo with the ad space, and how they wanted to lay everything out, but this is my first crack at it and I think their will be a few more revisions to come, or I may just do a totally different design, haven't decided yet.

HE HE... yeah, no fooling you guyz is there? Yeah, those are eye candy bevels all right. I'm just shaking out somne ideas for these people and I am too lazy to do the bevels myself since I don't have too much time to devote to this site. And yeah, since it is only a couple hours work, I don't have it in HTML any where yet, just the graphic so far! I admit though, it is pretty plain, and pretty boring, but I know you guyz get clients that demand nothing less then that all the time!

Looks good X, I think you should make the bevels yourself for the finished version but it still looks fine. Get the HTML version up ASAP so we can look at that. Looks good so far.

Personally i think this is a prime example of when Eye Candy can be useful. You want to bang out a quick corporate site, you don't need anything unique. Just slick looking, clean, and well organized. You've achieved that, I say go collect your money and get back to work on your personal site <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

Oh crap that reminds me... those trademarks, and privacy stuff need to go in. Thanks for that reminder. And yeah, For making money, we need more of these bang up templates that take nothing more then a couple hours to do, that is until these people can actually start paying us what we are worth. What a horrible trade off, and it is really giving me shame, but I wont concede the fact that I am not a genius and take a lot of practical approaches sometimes. And since I am new here, I should probably comment that Dr. Ozone has been instrumental in my upbringing in PhotoShop. It has been 5 grueling years, but so much of what he has learned has been graciously donated to the PhotoShop/Design community.
