I was talking to an old friend of mine, who was one of the main people who got me into web design. He was telling me hes having a problem designing a site that also looks good on WebTV as well as NN and IE. I knew WebTV is a little different then IE and NN and it doesnt support frames but Ive never heard of anyone designing a site just for it. Do any of you design for WebTV also?

heh hell no. To small a user base. but it is n interesting predicament. I'd say try large solid colors (a la CNET) don't use a lot of complicated patterns there just isn't the resolution for it nor do complicated patterns look very good. Best person to ask is actually a TV broadcaster or editor. These guys are the ones who know about designing for this medium. RGB colors are definately a must.

BTW you can do a JS redirect for webTV users.
