its unfinished version of "DAO" of which inspiraion came from traditional chinese style combined with some mechenical style which is my favorite. "DAO" is a pronauciation of a chinese character, see the black-white spinning like symbol in round shape on pic? that's a symbol of DAO, its really hard make u guys understand it. the white part in symbol means "Yang", that is equal to Positive, and black means "Yin" which represents Negative. and in Positive borned Negative, Negative again gives birth to Positive... an infinite loop.Oh, a chinses philosophy lesson... mmmmm... OK guys neglect it, just gimme ur comment on design plz, thx in advance |

Interesting iFace avatar. Although the celtic knot in the lower left hand corner is interesting, at least from a Sino-Celtic myth / belief system. I really wonder how you can merge these when the Chinese and Celts don't have any shared history. They are unique to each other. Although I will grant you the fact that they both used metal. |

whew, pretty harsh comments F1. I dont understand when he ran, didnt he respond in his last thread? Anyway Im sure he just used the Celtic knot because it looks cool. I doubt he was thinking about sino-celtic relations when he made it. Anyway, the i-face looks alright. I see you brought back those dentist looking things ... two of them this time. I hope your not planning on using those chinese symbols as your navigations buttons. I dont know if they mean anything but its like blind links. Where will they take you? Nobody knows... |

Although I do like the treatment of the image (kinda reminds of 19th century new york city plumbing....) it is far to similar to you last posted interface in my opinion. |

BTW, I just thought Id add that will your designs seem *alright* if anything. I would say there a little too unconventional even for me and don't seem to server a real puprpose. Id be something fun to play around with I guess if its for a personal site, I hope your not planning on selling it or using it for a business site. Like DL said its too similar to your last design. Nothings really changed ... |

TAO (the WAY of Life) from the Chinese Culture. The search for truth as attributed to Lao Tzu, 7th century before Christ. The TAO, a Philosophy; and Yin/Yang, the prehistoric symbol of dualism which denotes the force of balance in creation. Is a design good or bad? Why choose? when the Way appreciates form by looking and utilizes function in usage. |

Yin being the male, powerful, domineering, violent, and Yang being the female, gentle, kind, conciliatory and the perfect balance to the violent Yin. |

He kinda mixed history up a bit on this one, used far to many old school tricks. Not bad though. |

the goal of multi-posts on DBM, Topaz and here was for comments. and this i-face was just showing the techique to creat some 3D effect using PS. anyone wanna buy it? i wonder. for me, its a experimental combination of several styles. some strange feeling about that, even i looked at it for a while as author. |

Is the layout supposed to look like the Cannot Find Server window? If you were going for realism you got that down perfect. Although I dont remember a DNS Error in any traditional Chinese style that Ive seen ... |
