It's a very interesting layout. Very clean. Almost too clean. It seems as though it needs some life to it, maybe some drips, or cobwebs.
I would like to see some variations in the panels. They are all the same. If you put some holes in them, and changed the pattern of the grime a bit that would help. Why is the panel with MAX on it more blurred than the others?
Aside from that, it's a good look, but I'd like to see it functional.

Its deffinatly unique. The overall picture looks pretty good. Im just not sure about the whole practicality things again. Your designs are usually fairly interesting but doesnt seem to be the least bit practical. I dont see how your going to fit that on a website but Id be very interested in seeing the final results... I think you should break the image apart and start adding some rollovers and put it into a functioning site ...

hrm that's kind of interesting.. i'd like to see more contrast between the platforms and the background, so they could be more easily separated by the eye.

of course.. i don't really see how you could use that as an interface, but it's interesting nevertheless.

cuz of personal laziness, all wood panel r in same pattern. i just wanna have a try of making something dirty and had no time for diff pattern for each panel. and oringinally i thought the detail level is not enough, and wanna put some meter, wire or something else like that in pic, but finally aborted, i thought iam on an extreme of detail-focusing. the pic is in JPEG 30 compress-ratio, so shows a bit gray, that makes it hard to seperate from black bg tint. F1, u got an accurate sense, the panel with MAX was ignored while a sharp applied to others for an unknown reason...

If he were to bring the whole project into flash. I can see how he can pull off a web site.

Hmmm...reminds me of Monty Python's Flying Circus, a British comedy series from way back that most of you guys have probably never seen.

Are you kidding me? Who hasn't seen Monty Python? You can still find them on now, if you're watching the right (bad) channel(s) at the right point of the middle of the night <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

Avatar: once again, the treatment of the objects and the detailing are great....but there's just no cohesion...no sense of perpose....nothing that really jumps out at you.
