Hey:
I posted this in forum news and views, but it's not being noticed.

is that, wouldn't it be nice if we can have 1 more column showing LAST RESPOND BY: in the messge index? because I am pretty new here, and I keep coming very often for help, some message I've read and respond, but I just kept going there because I don't know if some one has respond to that topic. You feel it too or you don't care?

Actually Galaxal...that's what those little folder icons next to each post are for. If the icon is red, then it means that someone has responded to the topic since you were last here. If it's yellow, it means that no one has responded since the last time you were here. Folders that are on fire means that there has been over thirty replies to the topic, overall that is, not since the last time you were last here.

they dont always work tho, i just try to remember the number of posts.

I think he mean if HE replied to it...
what happens to me is that if I was the last one to respond, it stays red and doesn't mark it as read...

Whoa, sounds like a lot of work, modifying a ton of PERL scripts. Have you ever seen the UBB scripts? I'm not going to make any major changes to this beast unless I can justify the 2-3 evenings it'll need to get it going properly, with tests and bug fixes (and inevitable crashes, heh.)
