Preserved Topic: Top Image (Page 1 of 1)

Well, this isn't going to be an interface or anything special for that matter...just a layout. Here is the top image I just made http://www.geocities.com/dbkuraishi/dabomb.jpg ....criticism is welcomed and any ideas for the rest of the layout???? Damn....I need to make a new sig now that I am getting used to Photoshop!

Hmm... The edges (especially the unshadowed edges on the top and left) make a pretty harsh transition to your background. I almost want to see something rounded, or on a different background color (black comes to mind). This could also have something to do with the roughness of the borders on the top and bottom. The contrast in them is a bit much for me; I find them kind of distracting. Other than that, the transparent polygons you have in the upper right are nifty. I like polygons. <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/tongue.gif"> Good luck with this - you could take it to nice places.

There I fixed the bg, but I can't come up with any ideas for the rest of the layout?!

you've drawn/colored this all by yourself? Respect. uhm... Impressive. I only know you haven't made the BG pics on the left & right yourself. But I don't think any normal person would notice. Could you tell me when your site comes up?

Well actually it is going to be an anime site, and i didn't draw any of the pics....it should be up real soon at http://www.iceanime.com . Actually i can draw but I can't color them worth diddly do!
