im not retarded but at http://www.tutorials.descent4.net/photoshop/metal1/ whenever i do the tutorial it NEVER comes out looking like anything they say. it usually stops looking right at the step where you deleat the texture that looks like rock from the outside and set it to color. when i set it to color the texture goes away all the way. what AM I DOING WRONG!

That tutorial looks pretty good to me. The only reason I would say why it doesnt work is because your not doing it right <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/frown.gif"> Sorry. Check out the www.gurusnetwork.com theres a good tutorial for a metal texture, i believe written by Dark Garden. Take it nice and slow and im sure you'll get it in know time. Sorry I wasny much help

yeah, it's kind of a crappy tutorial anyway....DG's is much better (follow Jestah's link).
