And I've had this idea: "why not making a french translation of english tut?"

Sounds like quite a task. How will we set this up in the folder structure of GN?

We'll get him to write a little disclaimer in french, and we can make a french tutorial section, and put it in the meta tags to attract some frenchies.

French Hands-On? French GurusNetwork? I have to wonder just how readable this is, but services like this have been getting pretty big lately. The guys who wrote this one seem to use the Hands-On archives as a test bed, I've gotten a lot of hits from them throughout there beta test period.

Haem, do, the translator you've linked above is good, I must admit, yeah, but it's * always* an automatic translator... meaning it does remain meaningless, sometimes...

For tuts, I don't think translators will help. They have a godamn habit, translating even non-translatable things (have a good laugh when I saw 'Photoshop' translated by 'magasin de photo' some time ago..)
For thechnical things, I really think that translators are not the best solution. Human still needed! <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

Don't want to make a basic translation; it must fit in the design and in the directory structure, as said above. Yeah, a french introduction would be nice!

The HUMAN translating is absolutely necessary coz the French Hands-On can't be understood ( it's translating word bty word and give lots of errors) !
And like Dan said, it can attract lots of Frenchies... so GO Omera,

Ok, I've finished to translate the DLL-44 logo tutorial. I've translated Ozone's handson dropshadow too, and basic javascript rollovers.A long way down....down to the basement <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">
