Well, this might be out of place, but it's not really a site review, it's just a bit of beaming.

Today, http://pixelflo.com launched. It's been in the works for a while now, and Cal and I finally got to the point where we're ready to inflict it on the web world at large. For some odd reason, I wanted to share that with you guys. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, I assure you..but what fun it was in the process, and still is, as we expand.

It keeps getting 80% loaded and then stopping...

Edit: I tried launching without waiting; once the bg image loaded, it worked.

Oh! No wonder it took so long for that image to load! It's pretty darn long.

Oooh, but I like it...

Just one thing I noticed, those boxes in one game thing look as though they're taken from assembler.org, or at least the idea was. Other than that, though, the page looks great - I loved the sliding game!

Anything with a 'Feck Waiting' button rocks. Heh. Nice work DG. I do likey.

I was making a joke about a mail that Cal (code god) got today concerning the site that said "Man, I spent over half an hour there"

So I mentioned back "Yeah, but 26 minutes was just waiting for the background to load"...heh. Sorry about the file size.

Regarding Assembler, I know. We're both fans of Assembler, and the DHTML versus Flash project that was over there way back. The boxes, however, were just natural extensions of the pixel idea in the beginning. We give a healthy hat tip to Assembler, and had it as one of the first links on the site. I'm really glad you're enjoying the site guys, the feedback is giving me a smile today, and having been really sick for the past few days, that's a very welcome change. If you do encounter any bugs at all, or anything that annoys you (other than the background load time..hehe) hit me with it.

Wead...the "Feck Waiting" button was originally the "Feck Waiting, and Launch the Feckin' Window for Feck's Sake" button.
