Heh heh, I'm picturing troops of inmates, their nightgowns wrapped around them, huddling in their strapped jackets, herded through the snow. The wind howls, and why do those interns look so warm? (Nipping off a bottle, probably.) The stronger inmates help along their weaker, or more heavily medicated brothers and sisters. "When will our suffering stop?", they cry! Sad, so sad. Still, the Mad Scientists know they'll appreciate their new digs, roomier cells, more electricity for the shock treatments, fancier private aprtment complexes for the doctors, heh.

Heh? I thinlk I have the move completed, except for the archives, which I'äll move over tonight. I'll pårobably run through the offline copies of the scripts I have, looking in the threads for threads that point to *other* threads, after that is done I'll be able to reclaim the space on my other server!

I don't know what it is about those little things, they've always been flaky for me, on nearly every UBB board I visit. Sometimes they're there, sometimes not, feh. Typically though, usually in Netscape on Macintosh, and the UBB cookies are a known problem with that platform combo. Just "one of those things", I guess.

Overall, I'd say the transfer of this site went pretty slick, all things considered. Anyone who's ever tried transfering a database driven site without shutting it down will know what I'm talking about! (Patting meself on the back I am, heh.) I'm not 100% sure, but I think I even got all of the links into this site swapped over too! (Except the older posts on the GN board, my sig is probably still linked through. I'll live with that!)

Happy happy new home! This is too cool, I'm *so* relieved to have pulled this off.

It definitely has been a long time I haven't posted, our PC was broken for a good month. Changed job to a better one (more moola, backon...) and more of a chalenge (no more stagnant jobs). So that's it for now! I look forward to getting to know the new members on the forum and pick up where I left off with the certified nut cases here!
