Preserved Topic: College bowl games..

Any of you other computer nerds interested in sports at all?

My alma mater Kansas State University won their bowl game. A 35-21 whoopin of the Tennessee Volunteers! Go Cats!

How about anyone else? Your colleges do well? Care to get in a pissing contest about whose dad could beat up all the other dads?

I didn't really care who won that game, both teams had upsides...

FSU wins it throws a little chaos into the BCS with 4 teams having legitimate claims at the NT.

OU wins and two of K-State's three losses this year were to the Nat. Champs. Not bad.

the more and more I see games played by colleges that should not be where they are .. I continue to promote a playoff system for division 1 conferences .. and I say this because some conferences are off for five weeks before they play their bowl game .. and you can pull off a playoff system in five weeks .. top two teams per conference go to playoff .. third place teams or teams with good records go to something else
