Yeah, kinda like Hacky Sack, but with tackling. No really, like Curling, but without the brooms. But it's really more like a game of catch with your dad, except the neighbor keeps stopping by in a black and white stripped shirt telling you, you aren't doing it right.

Yah, I'm more amused by the advertising event this thing creates, it's always the peak of the season in more ways than one! I was reading about some of the internet companies that advertised last year, alas, no more. One firm mentioned had spent $2 million out of their initial seed money of $5.8mil just to do a single 30 second spot! Needless to say, they're history.

On a happier note, I hear that www.AdCritic.com will air the ads 30 minutes after they're shown on TV, good for those of us in faraway places!

Oh yeah, gotta be the Giants, a think it'll be a rout. 42-10 [edit] Heh. The game was played yesterday! Hopefully nobody will try ands take my prediction and try and place any bets on it! "Hi, I'm exceptionally stupid, and I'd like to place a losing bet on the Superbowl game that played yesterday?" They'd probably take your bet, too![/edit]

Geesh, I gotta stop rooting for the underdogs. I think it's a conspiricy, the ravens had a bunch of KFC delivered to the giants locker-room! No wonder they couldn't hold on to the ball.

N'Smith and Aero'Synch LOL. I love Ben Stiller. He has to be one of my favorites. It reminded me of the MI:2 parody he did with Tom Cruise. As far as the actual performance, well let's just say Fig hit the nail on the head.

On another note. The commercials sucked this year. My wife is taking Marketing and Advertising at school and her classes have talked about this a lot. She told me that last year every Super Bowl spot was filled withing the first two weeks of Jan. or something and this year they still had about half of their spots still available at that time. Due to the failure of the dot coms and other factors I think we will see the prices for Super Bowl spots go down next year.

But who cares about that anyway? This Saturday is the launch of the XFL!!! I'm pretty stoked on it. I'm going to an XFL game on the 17th in Vegas too. I think Vince has another winner on his hands with this. And if not... Well just turn up the sex and violence nob a little and get those ratings.

I hate the Super Bowl and football in general. Actually, I hate all these major league sports where the players get paid millions of dollars and act like jackasses outside the game. Football, baseball, basketball... I can't stand any of them. I think the players should get real jobs. Players striking because they're not making enough money to pay for that third sports car AND maintain their drug habit makes me physically ill.

Oh thats just the green eyed monstar of jealousy surfacing. I bet if you were head of a major computer manufacture, making not a million a year, but a few BILLION you would be all for people making this money. However think about it logically HS, most players make about $100,000.00 per season which sounds like a lot on many standards. I suppose thats considered upper middle class. Now the average player plays for what, 10 or 15 years? After which, they get a crap pention and have no job skills and are too old to be trained to do something different. Sure they made a fairly nice salary at a young age, but when people are just starting to make that money after working 15 years for it, these guys are making zilch. BTW, a $100,000.00 isnt a lot of money today. If they were making 10 million a year that would be different, most people dont do that though, maybe a handful of athletes, and there worth every penny of it.

Either way, prosports in general give probably nearly millions of jobs. Think of all the sports writers in the papers, the sports casters, the sports analysists, the venders, ticket guys, parking lots men and the countless jobs going on in the stadium. Not to mention actually building and maintaining the stadium. Without these million dollar players, plenty would be without jobs.

Did you see The Replacements? Not an outstanding movie but a good rent. It is about the big boys going on strike so the team owner goes out and gets a replacement team and they play out the season. It has Keeanu Reeves in it and some hot chick. It had its moments for sure.

"I'm wiry" hehehe
