Could anyone give some info or a link about copyrighting original images, logos, songs, etc? How you go about doing it blah, blah, blah.... |

If you really want to endorse your work as yours, you can register it through a lawyer/solicitor/legal attorney (whatever country you err from) as follows:-

no probs.. but it is important that the post offices stamp is readable.. i.e. the date!.. if the date is not readable and if the package has been tampered/opened... then its not as good.... plus like Phil says , going with a lawyer/attourney or even a copyright office/patent etc is more advisable if whatever you need copyrighting is *very* important!.. regardless to say that involves more moeny! heh, but is undoubtedly the more secure way to go. |

I seem to recall the mail method as no longer being an accepted form of copyrighting work. I know it used to be but I don't think it is anymore. Too easy to forge though it would help should matters come to court. |

Just another "ditto" for bitdamaged there - I know a playwrite who used to use the mail-to-yourself method, but it no longer holds up. But, if you're really worried about being able to prove your creation is yours, it really isn't very expensive to register your work at the U.S. Copyright Office. |

Well, I'm glad I didn't go out and buy a ton of stamps last night. I think I'm going to try to register through the copyright office like Wes said and try not to get attorneys involved at this point. |
