I am trying to run a Java agent in Lotus Domino 5.0.3 that gets stock quotes from the web.
Problem is the Java code will be running behind a proxy. When I'm making an http connection
in
my Java code, how do I supply the proxy address, my username, and password used to
authenticate to the proxy in order to get out?

Note that Domino 5.0.3 currently supports JDK 1.1.8 or earlier. Or is there a way by passing
HTTP headers in the code to do all that? Thanks.

I didn't do something like this before in Notes. Did you try the SuperSearch over at MartinScott Consulting?

Good luck anyway.
