OK, Ditko versus the DREAD DORMAMMU - who wins?

Heh. I need to go search and see if anyone has done justice to a good Dr. Strange shrine on the web, maybe I'll have to do one myself!

OK, one more, this is a tough one...

Ditko versus Jack Kirby? Hmm, good flowing line work on both parts, Kirby has stronger contrast working for him, but Ditko must have done too much acid at one time, his distorted perspective is simply too much! Comments appreciated, of course.

Er, what was this thread about?

Oh yeah! Digital-web, good show. DG, great one as usual. Twitch^, I just *love* those colors! Maroon, ornage, green... Green? Not my 1st choice, but good choice after all, especially where you explain *why* it's a good choice.

Your pal, -doc-

PS: Whoop! One thread off, oops. I'll go look at the forum now, heh. Too distracted thinking of Steve Ditko, one of my earliest influences, woo-hoo!

I dunno..that one might have to go to Kirby....though Ditko could pull out the space spawning Silver Surfer as a backup.

Gotta give him spidey..but come on..red and blue? where's the pipe at Steve? ~puff puff~

Kirby for the new gods, and half the rest of comic classicdom...or maybe just for inspiring Miller and Mignola. Though doc's right..nothing says classic like a purple faerie outfit and a flaming pumpkin head! Dread Indeed.

This may help, Every Cover Steve Diko ever drew http://animation.acmecity.com/cartoonist/246/ditko0.htm

I personally think Rac Shade was the best character he ever penned however I do have a large ammount of his Dr Strange stuff in boxes too.
