Preserved Topic: Doc - primal content problem (Page 1 of 1)

I was just browsing the primal content-generated ravings at gurusnetwork, and went to this one:

And some weird stuff started happening... the second half of the text started repeating itself like 4 times over. I'm not sure how to explain it. Go yourself. Hopefully it's a problem with the data itself and not the program giving the data to gurusnetwork...

It repeated a few times for me, too. Section 4 was there twice and part of 3 ?? Good rant, tho Doc.

While we`re on the subject, Slime, I couldn`t get your page to load today. Problems ? or is it just fucked up on my end? Couldn`t get there from the Aslyum Ring.



<edit> Oh yea, Doc. I heared that Yahoo is looking for a new CEO to take the company in a new direction. There`s your database, man. All you have to do is write up the database as a part of you severence pckage, run `em into the ground, keep the data..TADA! Yep, problem for me too.

Finishes fine, but then it repeats from about halfway through...in mid sentance.

Yep, looks like it was just my rant, and it turned out to be pretty easy to fix, I had the text looking that way in my database version at the home server! Hmm, how the heck did I do that? Thing is, I know I'm there a lot, doing things to my own articles, must've added that when working on my editing tool. (Has anyone seen that yet? Select a bunch of type and click bold, it copies the text and pastes it back with bold tags, handy. Only works in IE, but cool nonetheless.) I'll see about adding this to the Asylum soon, make it easier to enter UBB code!

OK, it doesn't repeat any more, but there's still this section in the middle of part 3 of the rant that makes no sense:

"Well, te our version of the cable acces shows..."

I remember that when it repeated, each repetition started with "e our version of the cable acces shows..." so, maybe something got lost there, I'm not sure.

OK, fixed now. I wrote a longer reply, but mistyped my pasword and lost it all on "back", sigh. Thanks for all!
