Recently, my Winamp screwed up and I got an error with PDM.DLL. The next moment when I went back to my browser (M$IE 5.50something/Windows millennium) almost all text on the current webpage was displayed in italics! When I switched to other webpages, those were mostly in italics as well, and this has been this way with almost all sites I visit 'til now. I tired clearing the cache, didn't help.

Does anyone know what PDM.DLL does and if that may have caused this error? Or anything else that might help?

Well, first, I'd like to ask how on earth you got a screen shot of a message *inside* the message without editing the message.

Then, i'll ask, have you tried restarting yet?

Slime, regarding your question about screenshot, it's simple, you add img tag that points to image which you'll upload later...

*big grin at Slime* (hey max! you spoiled it!) Yes, I did restart, as a matter of fact it's been this way now for almost a week.

Howdy...

Have you installed any 'fonts' recently? Same thing happened to me not-so-long-ago *after* i'd been messin with a bunch of fonts. I somehow managed to 'unmess' it all but I don't know exactly what I did. But if you have been playing with the fonts... you mite want to take a look there. Sorry couldn't be more helpful.

You might also want to check what encoding method you're using by default. I set my browser once to greek encoding for some purpose or another and most pages still worked fine up until I all of a sudden expected some special characters that just... weren't there. I went nuts trying to figure it out!

maybe you accidently or some other program accidently set a default to something else. If you can't figure it out in tools-->Internet options then try tools-->reset web settings.

Reformat your entire computer. Take out your processer. Dip it in water. Plug your monitor into your printer port, and vice-versa. Attempt to print.

Put out the fire.

Italics gone.

no, damnit!

ya'll got it all wrong!!

It's quite simple: just bang the "T" key repeatedly while firmly beating the monitor on the right side. That seems to clear up most computer glitches regardless of OS.
(at least you'd think so!)

Uh, Pet, that's my favorite way to clear up any fuzziness on my monitor!
But all seriousness aside, the Coke thing really works best
