Nice desk, but where do you put all your stuff ?

I don`t see any place for the soda cans, coffee cups, ashtrays, stacks of sketches, nor a single sticky note.

Don`t see it workin out for me.
Prolly cheap, too, eh ?

It looks *nice*, heh! But, it's a little bit too compact/small for me - I like to have a lot of space around me...

Yeah, DB, some people just don't get it.

I wish somebody would tell auto makers that a luxury car isn't a luxury car without a few cupholders.

Yah, Malin was in love with that desk too, I found it *does* have all sorts of clever storage spaces, etc... My dream desk, which I had once upon a time when I lived in a much larger flat, was a HUGE butcher block dining table that could have seated 8. It was deep enough that I could work on it from either side, and I placed it in the middle of the room and could/would walk around it, doing different things in different areas. I could draw *here*, compute *there*, and if I needed to saw some wood or clamp a vise I could do it *there*, and still have space to throw my keys and mail when I came home" Sigh, heaven.

I can see myself wacking my head on the overhead light thingy every time I stand up. Nice chair, though. I could pretend I'm the starship captain whenever I sit down to check email. With a high enough headrest I could even take naps without anyone knowing. hmmmmm how much for that chair ....

It's not really for "development" purposes -
it's more of a workspace for high-human-concentration
systems monitoring.

When I was in Internet credit card processing, I'd DROOL to have
have that kind of environment - I'd be on the phone with 4 different
banks, watching 4000 credit card transactions roll by the screen per
hour, all while writing perl and java, deploying while I was testing --
man, that's the fast lane... Lost a lot of hair at that job, but I was
never, never bored :-)

I knew exactly what you were talking about before I even read the post And they actually used to have prices on the site, they start at lik $4 or $5k and go up from there as you accessorize...

It looks like one of those things where if you have to ask how much it is, you probably can't afford it anyway.
