I've always been a big proponent of #28. I like to use words in normal conversation that let the listener know exactly what I mean, but it's not a real word. You know it's a 'real' word when you say it and someone gets your drift, I don't care if it's in the dictionary or not.

Good list there Steve, you really get into some squirrely stuff man.

I'm going to spend the weekend meditating on #19 - "Work the Metaphor". My God, that's a potent one-liner. Do you artists and writers and philosophers have any idea how big that one is??

I came up with this link from an interview with Hillman Curtis published in Photo District News. It's going to be a regular column dealing with high profile contemporary designers and their "influences". Hillman had some neat stuff. Including this. I'm humbled on such a regular basis it's wonder I can reach up high enough to tie my shoes.
