Aaaahhhh!

This coming Monday or Tuesday I will post proof that life-sucking monsters do indeed exist.

Good News: Everyone is still alive and we are in the green for our efforts. But we've still got roughly 36 hours to go.

Gotta fly.

I am interested in life and/or blood sucking monsters. Please keep us informed, will you? Best of luck on the 36 hours!

Time is of the essence. If I get caught sitting at a computer for too long, I'm toast.

Yesterday morning we got the call. Had to be out the door in 15 minutes. That was at 8:30 am. Didn't get the chance to lay down until 12:30 that night -- monster chasing *all* day. At one point I was in hot persuit and almost lost 2 toes on my left foot. But no time to whine -- back on my feet and keep running. When I finally did get the chance to lay down, I fell asleep immediately and was awakened this morning to strange noises. It didn't even feel lke I had slept. It was the kind of sleep that feels like 5 minutes. Tracking has been fairly easy because they make a ton of noise and destroy every thing in their path. Life sucking destroyers I tell you. Today has been more of the same. I don't think it would so bad if I had the chance to eat more than one meal a day.

Bad news: I'm missing the PowerPuff Girls Papathon.

Good news: Less than 24 hours left and everyone is still alive.

When they get set on destruction, especially in groups, they can really wreak havoc. Why, in less than 15 minutes, two of them did this.

Funny thing, if you feed them, they come back for more. Yes, we made that mistake. Eventually we broke down let them into our camp. Yeah, monster chasing up close and personal.

Okay, so enough is enough. Time to stop chasing the monsters and actually set a trap. I set up a really sophisticated monster trap involving a recliner and 2 baskets of laundry. Shorty after, two of them fell for it. One did get away, but we did manage to capture one and subdue.

Now, these monsters are actually a bit smarter than we had anticipated. Not being average monsters, they actually sat down for a few minutes and painted what looked like tribal tattoos on themselves. Very sophisticated behavior. By this time, they had learned what the crappy digital camera is and they made a break for it when they saw it in my hand. So, no pictures.

At 1:00 pm EST tomorrow, we will be free and clear. But I and my partner still have to get through the night.

It's over.

I have seen the destruction of one monster and the destruction of monsters in groups. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. I can attest to this.

Life-draining monsters do exist, and I wouldn't have it anyother way.
