so, you are talking about the desktop in winme, right?
what exactly has changed? maybe it's the color depth?

Install new drivers for your graphic card and adjust monitor (brightness & contrast)...

well,
Do I have to adjust the contrast and brightness again?
But If i boot in WinME again, everything looks perfect! But not in Win2k.

Max: I'm using same driver on both..but colors and intensity varies
Grumble: Color Depth, how can i adjust that?

Could it be a conflict from having 2 Windows OS on the same machine? I don't know, it was just a thought.

Colour Depth: That the difference between 256 Colours, 16 Bit, 24 Bit and 32 Bit colours. it's in your display properties

In the beginning, there was the word...and the word was 'God', although by the time it reached the other end of the phone line... the word was 'Gznd'

ME is not an NT system, while 2k is an NT system, and in that light you will need a different driver for your monitor, and maybe other pieces of hardware, such as network cards, and external or non-plug-and-play cdroms.

Good luck.

While we are at refresh rate, if you want to change default 60Hz refresh rate in DirectX applications (games), you can do that by using "dxdiag.exe" utility...
