ok I had a thought that I wanted to ask everyone. I just had my system tweaked and fixed at the local "PERSONAL TOUCH" comuter repair service and they have you basic pc stuffs... |

i think the problem lies in that most people who know a lot about computers have invested most of their time in relating and learning about data and machines. they have not invested their time into personal relationships or other people. this is not everyone, just generalizing here. not to mention the radiation that comes from computer screens! whew! <grin> that's gotta do something to people who spend large amounts of time in front of 'em. |

Well, be thankful you got people who know what they're doing. From my experience, most of the people who work at these places act like jackasses and they don't have a clue about most comp tech problems. If you can find a place with helpful and intelligent staff, you've found the promised land my friend. |
