Bad news is I have to reformat this weekend

It's time....I've had this computer a year and now it's doing funky stuff like cluster surface scans on reboot sometimes and pop up ads on my journal page and ~gasp~ the zone ! Soooo yuh it's a must

Good news is:

I don't have to do it .... my friend that works for Dell and owns his own place is doing it for me

AND

I'm sooooooooo happy ! I got a new 60 G HD ..... new bose surround sound speakers with enough extra cable to run the speakers I have now into the kitchen area.... a new 19" Sony monitor and a new Yamaha 16x10x40 RW CD burner and a stack of 50 CD's with cases to burn on ..........ohhhhhhhh and killer headphones so I don't bother my roomies as I listen to Winamp

I am in heaven ! I just wonder how long it will be until I find something else I want

hmmmmmmm maybe a wacom tablet would be cool ~eg~

I really want to upgrade to Win2k, and I have it, but I keep waiting to just finish "one more project" and then I'll do it...

yepp, a wacom would be nice. i am also thinking of buying one soon.
but i cant decide between the graphire series or the intuos.

I don't think I've ever reformatted a hard drive. Not in either two computers over the course of five years, since seventh grade when I got my first computer. Just haven't had that many problems. Nothing a good restart couldn't fix.

And I'm back with the new motherboard.

OMG !

I have a 17" monitor until my 19" comes in Monday. I have always seen the forum as almost a black color with orange lines and stuff......everyone kept talking about trying sigs on both backgrounds colors and I just stayed out of that debate because I only saw one color

WELL now I see the zone as ummmmm a few colors and my sig is soooooooooooo ugly I want to go crawl in a hole !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is.......this place sure looks different now. I am wondering how I know when I have my colors right. I'm still crosseyed from adjusting the screen right

Now I have to call the computer store today and tell the guy.... he only charged my credit card $39.95 and not $139.95 for my hard drive (if I don't I know I will pay for that down the road and then some) and tell him the speakers I got don't have a headphone jack like he said sooooooooooo I need to exchange them.

Now my biggest thing is getting the drive in tomorrow and moving stuff I want to keep and then wiping this HD clean ....... and of course making a new sig that somewhat blends with this b/g color. I'm still in shock over the forum colors...what a huge difference. I better wait until I'm sure my color settings are right and the colors I see now are the real colors.

Now I am off to spray Pure Citrus Orange spray all over my house to cover up the fire smell where me and Spring microwaved a AOL free minutes CD and the paper label caught fire and it melted and stuff
