Preserved Topic: Free PHP bb Forum (Page 1 of 1)

Hey guys! I was looking to start a forum for a client and I needed something that would look very good like this forum, but wouldn't cost me a arm and a leg. The forums on the Godcore server that I work on are very cheap looking so I started searching!

Lookie what I found! A "free" PHP forum with all the functions that anyone could ever hope for. Even alot of features that this forum does not have "yet". This forum shows how many people viewed the thread, the IP of the user how posted it. It shows you if your buddy is on or not (All features that are on the new version of the asylum) all very cool stuff, but it's free! Well sorta! You need to have MySQL and your own server, but who "doesn't" have access to that? Or can't somehow get acces to that?

Ok now I got a question. You really only need to download and then upload to your server right? There isn't a need to keep the program on your comp, right?
