Perhpas its time to sort this out (i was struggling the other day). I noticed a few sites didn't have the Asylum webring snippet on their page - perhaps its time to name and shame!! Or are there others problems I've not noticed?

Allewyn, when you go to http://www.ozoneasylum.com/ring/ , you'll see button entitled "Site Administration", which will lead you to page where you can modify your web site entry (change location, make it inactive, etc.)

Yah, I never really invested enough time to jump in and re-write the interface on this thing, it sucks! It is confusing, but there are *two* "administration" interfaces, one for the ring and one for the sites.

For the record, I altered the code I used on the OZONE page to have the main link point not tto the start of the ring, but to the listing of sites, and made what *used* to be the main link into a smaller "join?" link. I usually surf to a few pages each dasy using the random link bit, and if I see a site down or not linked, I pull them off the roster. If anyone wants to take a stab at administering this beast, give me a holler and I'll mail you the password to it.

Thanks Max but, with the talk about "FREE"dom2Surf's free service going away, I'll have to wait until I find a new place. No sense putting the ring up then taking it down again.

Dark, on the same link that I posted above ( http://www.ozoneasylum.com/ring/ ), you'll see button entitled "Add a new site". You should click on it After you fill in the form on that page, you'll receive confirmation e-mail with ring HTML code that should be added to your web site. Only thing left is site activation in the ring, and that's done manually by Doc...
